Do my documents ever leave my machine?
No. Vonzl indexes and searches the folders you scope it to entirely on your own disk, on every tier including Free. When you ask something on a Cloud plan, only the matched snippets are sent for the answer — and the client shows you exactly what is about to go before it goes. On a Local Appliance plan, even that step runs on hardware you own.
What is the difference between Cloud and Local Appliance?
It's one setting in the same app, not a different product. Cloud runs the generation step on our infrastructure, billed per seat. Local Appliance points the same client at a machine you own, so nothing at all leaves the building — billed per company rather than per seat.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes — no card, no trial countdown. You get on-device dictation up to 2,000 words a week, 10,000 AI tokens a week for drafting and summarising, and 50 voice commands — pasted straight into any app. Document Q&A over your own folders and email templates start on Cloud Basic.
What happens when I hit a weekly limit?
Allowances work on a rolling 7-day window, so they free up gradually as the past week's usage ages out — the app shows you the exact date and time. If a busy week runs long, a one-time Boost Pack inside the app tops up your words, tokens, and voice commands for seven days, without changing your plan.
Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Any time, from inside the app. Upgrades apply immediately; cancellations run to the end of the period you've already paid for. Prices shown here are localised to your region and include tax where it applies.
How does per-seat billing work for a small team?
Cloud plans are billed per person using Vonzl, so a three-person team pays for three seats. Local Appliance plans are billed per company instead, with seats included up to the plan's limit — which usually works out cheaper once a team passes roughly ten people.
